When I recently upgraded to Win 10, I decided to start using the Calendar app. I noticed at the time that whenever I added a new event, that ‘calendar – outlook’ appeared. That seemed to be the only option so I just ignored it. After a couple of weeks, I started getting a message that now pops up on my sys tray a few times a day telling me that my ‘Outlook account settings are out of date’.

Anyone know how I can get rid of this irritant?

Open you browser and go to outlook.com and log in. It will redirected you to live.com I believe. Once logged in there will be a gear in the upper right hand area of the screen. Check your settings and save them and that should take care of the problem.
