Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
Outlook 2000
Until 3pm this afternoon I had the capability to make multiple selections in the Insert File dialog. I was really pleased to have this capability after I installed 2000.
Suddenly, I can only make a single file selection, although I can still attach multiple files to an email.
I can’t find any setting in the Options that controls this.
Anybody have any idea what may have happened?
Well folks, the silence has been deafening.
However, small miracles do occur. I happened to browse through my Outlook options today and noticed that on my Mail Format tab the ‘Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages’ checkbox was checked. Some 
influence I suppose.
I generally won’t use Word for emails, so I unchecked it. Guess what. Got my multiple file selections back. 
If I really deeply think about it, it could make sense…..I guess.
