    Hi
I’ve just upgraded one of my PCs to Windows 10 and, prior to populating it with apps and user data, I am trying to test system recovery using the recovery drive and system image I have created.

The system image is on my NAS drive with a path of:
    \MYBOOKLIVEBackupsWindowsImageBackupComputer-PC

However, after following all the prompts using the troubleshooting options of the recovery drive, and entering the correct username and password, I get error code 0x80070035 indicating a network error.

    Can anyone help please?
    Thanks

Maybe the image can’t find the path by name and you need the IP address instead, e.g. \192.168.1.21BackupsWindowsImageBackupComputer-PC

      cheers, Paul

      Thanks for your response Paul.
But, for safety’s sake, I have decided that it will be easier to simply use a locally attached USB drive – and this solution worked first time!
