No WiDi after Windows 10 upgrade

I have a Dell XPS L502X laptop purchased 2012
I have just upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7
I received a notification after the upgrade to the effect that WiDi will not operate with Windows 10 and has been removed.

Is there any way I can get WiDi working again ? I use a NetGear Push2TV device on the TV

Help would be much appreciated. I hope I don’t have to roll back to Win7.

It seems that it should work unless later updates have been the cause to kick it out, but update the drivers as the article suggests.

So unless other members have experienced the same and found a fix, I would suggest you contact Dell for advice.

WIDI wasn’t supported on my W10 upgrade on my HP ProBook either but I didn’t figure I needed it anyway NOW I see there is a new D/L for it that supports W10.

So, does this mean that I should be able to find a way to connect wirelessly my laptop to the Netgear Push2TV equipment without Intel WiDi? In other words Windows 10 has the inbuild soft ware to facilitate this connection. If so, how do I do this?
New technology options seem to be expanding exponentially and unfortunately I am a bit of a dinosaur !
