Today, when visiting Norton’s community website (https://community.norton.com/en), three Save As prompts popped up on their own. They were each trying to save a file with gibberish names of letter and number combinations as an HTML document. I canceled them and ran virus/malware scans and came up clean.

Has this happened to anyone else before? This actually is the second time this has happened to me, though I admit the first time I was a bit more panicked and closed the prompt without looking more closely (it also only opened up one Save As prompt that time). These instances were using the Firefox browser.

      I didn’t get any save… using Chrome 102

OP here. Just a note that, possibly, it could be that whatever was happening on the website was trying to save links, because I realized that right-clicking a link on Firefox and choosing “Save link as…” the same type of prompt appears, the gibberish name with the file type as Firefox HTML document.
