Can someone suggest the best way to create nested ordered lists?. I am trying to create lists that will be identified with different markers depending on the hierarchy of the entry. The idea would be to have just one master list with different levels…. .For example :
    1
    a
    b
    i
    ii
    iii
    d
    2
    ..and so on.

Please note that there is no 1.1 or 1.1.1 structure involved here (is it possible to do something liek that on HTML??)

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can do this. See the examples on W3Schools: http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?fi…l_lists_ordered%5B/url%5D

Just be careful to closely manage your start and ending tags (both OL and LI) within the structure to make sure you get the expected results.

Hmmmmm…the example cited doesn’t actually “nest” the lists….right? (Just gives an indication as to how to obtain different “bullets”…)

That is correct – the example did not show nesting. However, nesting is supported in this situation.

          Nesting is simple:

        • Test
        • Test
        • Test
        • Test
        • Test
        • (Ignore the space following the opening html tags – that was used to prevent the lounge from parsing the HTML tag.)
I actually learned something new. I don’t work with lists very much and I did not realize that HTML had native support for the different types of ordered lists.
