Outlook 365 has relocated the search bar above the application. But it doesn’t work anymore. Cannot search within one folder. I am looking for a registry hack to restore the old search bar and capabilities.

I have found the answer after much digging and using logic.

Seems our buddies at Microsoft have changed something in Exchange Server, and haven’t told anyone what they did! So when you search as a client, the Exchange Server blocks the search and it fails. Microsoft, just can’t leave stuff alone. Always causing issues. Thanks for the 6 hours I spent researching the issue. Like I have nothing better to do.

(When you work off line, search works perfectly).
