I program VBA for Excel, Access and Word and wanted to start looking at Outlook VBA. From the ‘brief’ look that I’ve had it seems very different, and seems to revolve around form objects. Would anyone like to attempt to describe why Outlook is so different and perhaps supply me my first ‘hello world’ procedure for Outlook? Thanks, Andy.

If you have VBA experience, then your best bet is to buy Randy Byrne’s book by MSFT Press.

The code posted on this Board and on the Outlook board by jscher2000 and Rory is also worth looking at. HTH
