Sound advice as ever Susan the “Function Publication Service” in Services cures a multitude of Sins with Networking. Alas the Networking issues in “Life after Home Group” pretty much seem to be an ongoing Saga as outlined here.
As most people will either being willing or unwilling participants in the 1803(4) experiment\Beta Testing and thus been upgraded they may not get the issue outlined here as further testing doing an upgrade from a fully updated Oct 2017 Win8.1Prox64 image on one of the affected machines didn’t reproduce the problem.
For those embarking on a “Bare Metal” clean install, life is not going to be easy. Currently, time permitting, trying an upgrade of Win10x64 1511 to 1803(4) to see if that cures it. Just Guessing here but when M$ “ripped out” Home Group they may have unwittingly removed some essential item of Networking. Not like M$ to do anything like that now is it?
I received the .net preview yesterday for 7X64. KB4103472. I’m a home user and don’t download previews.
I use Win7x64 A group and have to previews showing KB4103472 and KB4033342
There have been, for some days now, reports of problems with the Windows 7 May Security Only and IE11 Security Rollout, including comments to this effect by Woody. But they are not mentioned in the Master Patch List. I find this confusing.

A lot of Quirks have actually Disappeared Vs being created with recent Updates, and being a card-carrying Murphy’s Law guy I’ll just say the computer of someone I’m very close to has never run better. FYI Only, YMMV……………

Are previous “Master Patch Lists” updated?
Is:
KB4088878
Windows 7 – Security only
Hold for now
still true/on hold? I went through all the monthly master patch lists and never saw where KB4088878 was given a “go-ahead” status.

KB4099633 is a Rollup (a bundle). You won’t see it listed , only the individual version patches. That is the same thing you will see in “Installed Updates” – not the Rollup but the individual patches.
If upi run >Net update through WU, it installs only what you need. If you download from the Catalog, you are responsible for picking what you need.
