Pivot Table or Pivot Table Report (2000)

I’ve been tasked with writing documentation for a “Pivot Table” and “Pivot Table Report.” As far as I can tell they are both the same. Is that correct or are they two separate subjects?

They’re the same as far as I know. The menu option to create a pivot table is actually called ‘PivotTable and PivotChart Report…’.

I would say that they are exactly the same thing. I have come unstuck on this before though as the person making the request sometimes thinks they are saying the right term but are in fact reading it of the front of Computer weekly and don’t know what it is themselves. I would suggest making a tentative request for clarification from the source asking them to explain exactly what they want. My
