Is it possible to prevent users from navigating between records on a bound form?

I can remove the navigation buttons, but using the scroll wheel or shift+tab will allow the user to go back through the records.

    I don’t want that.

    Please help!

    Thanks!

How do you get to the form? Is it a “new” record that you don’t wnat them to move back off of?

It seems to me the easiest answer to your problem would be to:
1.) if new, open the form in data entry mode only (although w/o further provisions, they would be able to scroll amongst the records they already added), or
2.) if editing a record, have the user chose the record from a selection list, then open the form filtered strictly for that one record.
If either of these selections are what you’re looking for, check the parameters that can be sent when calling a form using code or macro.

Yes, this is a new record that I do not want them to back off of.

You could go to the forms properties and make the Data Entry property yes. This should make the form open to the first new record and not allow the user to see already entered records. I am thinking there might be some issues with a scrolling mouse you might want to look into if your users have this type of mouse.
