• Print a file (Access 2000)

I need to create some Access code that can print a file on disk. The file may be in Word (.doc or .rtf) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) or other type.
I can print the Word document with automation. But how can I tell a different application’s file: “go print yourself”? Obviously, Acrobat Reader is on the machine. On the desktop I could just drag the file to a printer shortcut. But how do I do that via code?
    Thanks all for your help.

For PDF, try this thread. You probably have to Shell whatever command line you come up with.

Thanks for that – /t works nicely. I did need to specify the printer name – it didn’t pick up the default.
        Thanks again
