Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

Usually it’s recommended to re-install the program the corrupted uninstall is associated with then uninstall it. When all else fails I’ve have success with this program but it can be dangerous:
http://www.iobit.com/advanceduninstaller.html
I’ve started installing “Revo Un-Installer FREE” with every new PC setup. It does a great job of deleting unwanted programs, including the Spyware that comes pre-installed on new PC’s. (Like the Wild Tangent Games)
Many people use the “Cleanup” program in windows and some even run it in Extended mode (I do), but…..and I’ve said this 1000 times, at least…..
DO NOT EVER select to delete the “Install Log files”. With that install log gone, Windows will not know how to uninstall anything, and you’re stuck with it, till you use a program like the “Revo Un-Installer”.
Even after using Revo, you may still have to manually go through your Programs folders and delete the folder for the old program that you thought was gone.
Good Luck and Happy Holidays!
