Hi, I have a Word Document that has about 10 objects embedded (as icons) – these are either other .doc or .pdf files.
I want to protect the document so uses cant easily change the text, but still allow the user to double click the inserted object’s icon, to open the embedded document.
Is this possible?
The best i have done is using section breaks either side of the object, but then the user can cut the object / delete it etc.
I suppose I can make the whole .doc read only – this would be my next best option.
I can PDF the document, but it loses the embedded documents data.
Thanks
