    Is a user supposed to receive replies to a direct message after the user has deleted the direct message?

      The reason I ask is because within the past few hours I got an email message about a new direct message, and yet there was no new direct message at AskWoody. I deleted a message earlier this morning. Perhaps the reply to that deleted message was lost?

      Your DM to me was announced by an email, and I have just sent a reply via the online portal.
      Let me know if you would like any further testing 🙂

      I have lost my DM and subscribed-topic email notifications since the move. The only way now I have to know if I have a DM is the pink message bar at the top of the website. Subscribed topics – I have no clue unless I see the post link in the Dashboard.
