Where in the Microsoft/Outlook account settings can I modify or simply remove the security question and answer?

    Have they removed this?

I set a security question and answer a long time ago when I created the account, but I find my answer too weak and I want to change it or simply remove it.

Security questions and answers can still exist (for password reset purposes only) on Work or School accounts: Set up security questions as your verification method

And they’re required (for password reset) on a local Windows account: How to manage your security questions for a local Windows account

But I believe security questions were eliminated from Personal or Family Microsoft accounts at least ten years ago:

Thankfully, many services are realizing security questions are very insecure and axing them. Google and Microsoft no longer offer security questions for their accounts — instead, you can recover an account using an associated phone number. [2014]

If it’s a Microsoft Account, do you still get asked for the answer and under what circumstances?

My Windows account is a local account and I’m not talking about that.

I’m asking about my personal Outlook account. It never asked for the security answer, but I just wanted to make sure it’s gone. I think you’ve answered my question, thanks.
