Patch reliability is unclear, but widespread attacks make patching prudent. Go ahead and patch, but watch out for potential problems. |

GuestAugust 1, 2016 at 12:42 pm #38296You can try this, from https://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/38624-uninstall-specific-windows-updates-via-cmd-or-batch-file-in-windows-7-8-and-server-2008-2012
This will run the uninstall without any open windows, and will not prompt for a reboot:
@echo off
wusa /uninstall /kb:3161102 /quiet /norestart
ENDIf you are manually running the script on a number of computers that you want to reboot after the uninstall, just change the /norestart switch to /forcestart:
@echo off
wusa /uninstall /kb:2744842 /quiet /forcestart
END -

AskWoody LoungerAugust 1, 2016 at 4:14 pm #38306Just tried it like this:
@echo off
wusa /uninstall /kb:3161102 /norestart
:theEndIt worked, according to command prompt, which said that the update wasn’t installed on this computer after I ran it twice. WU says I haven’t installed any updates since the 12th of July (the last time I had). But it IS still showing up in updates as having been installed.
It seems good now.

This link will tell you that you cannot uninstall this update once it is installed.
I am sure Microsoft would quote security as the reason for this move. -
