When l click on the Exit button in Excel for some odd reason it takes me back to the list of macros in the database rather than the main
    menu of the database.
If you see the attachment you will see what l mean.
This works fine in another spreadsheet.

Excel? Spreadsheet? I might be useful if you explain how you end up in Excel from your Access database.

I have a button which l click on which takes me to an Excel spreadsheet.
When l click on Exit in one spreadsheet it takes me back to main screen of database but not on the other spreadsheet.

Do you open both spreadsheets from Access?

What is the code behind the button?

          • #824613

“E&xit” is the code behind the button that works.
This is the same as the one that does work.

I am baffled as to why one spreadsheet is working and the other is not?
            Any ideas?

              E&xit is not code, it’s a caption.

You wrote “I have a button which l click on which takes me to an Excel spreadsheet”. What is the code in the On Click event of that button? Is the code to open the one spreadsheet the same as the code to open the other spreadsheet?

I checked the code and it was wrong.
              Thanks once again Hans.
              It is now working fine.
