Security updates while deferring cumulative updates

Per AW’s advice, I always defer cumulative updates until she gives the go ahead.  However, when Windows update shows antivirus and malicious software removal tools at the same time as all the updates to be deferred, how to I only download and install the “safe” updates I want right now?  Thank you. (Hope I did this correctly)

In order to hide some updates and install the updates you want you can use WUmgr.
