Send function in Word 2007

I use Win 7 with Office 2007. When I click on send button in Word 2007 I get following message,” Must Access Microsoft Exchange To Access Your Address Book”. I am a stand alone user -How do I accomplish this?? I need to send e-mails from Word 2007.

It sounds as if Outlook has been installed as though it were using Exchange Server rather than using a local PST file and address book. What happens if you try to compose an email in Outlook (it uses Word as the email editor)? If that doesn’t work either then you probably need to reinstall Outlook 2007.

I have no trouble sending an e-mail I compose in outlook. But I can’t send from word 2007
