The Logitech EX 110 keyboard is wireless. Shift-Delete used to bypass the Recycle Bin but now it doesn’t. I have uninstalled the Logitech software ‘Setpoint 6.10’ and reinstalled but now it will not work at all, even intermittently, all other keys work (I think) as they should. I have pressed the re-connect buttons but to no avail.

Logitech supportshows 2 different versions of software for your keyboard, a 32 bit and a 64 bit version. It is important to get the right bitness. You do not say which you have. If the latest drivers with the correct bitness are installed, I would supect your problem is hardware based. It may be time to replace the keyboard.

Found a workaround for this. I used a keyboard remapper and and remapped the Shift key to Shift and it works, don’t ask me why.
