I stumbled across this tool and thought it might be interesting for some who want more flexibility than Windows 10 and Windows 11 allow. See Start Everywhere – Start Menu which offers several unique solutions (wintools.info) for more information and download link. No installation is required. Just unzip and use it. 64-bit Windows OS 10/11 only.

Not just the Start Everywhere tool but several others on the site. It’s like stumbling over NirSoft tools for the very first time. 🙂

I’ve just tried the Windows 10 ISO Download Tool (excellent) and Windows Key Viewer (simple, efficient).

I particularly like the Win10 All Settings tool, especially its Most Used entry:

      win_10_all_settings-most_used

      Very useful.

Off to play now with Start Everywhere and the intriguing upToDate Downloader.

Many thanks for the heads up.

I have to agree… wholeheartedly. The entire site is a bit of a treasure trove of niche but *very* useful system utilities… IMO much like NirSoft and sordum.org.

All the WinTools.Info utilities I’ve tried so far have worked really well, even the discontinued ones like the Firefox Download Tool (which recently proved its worth for a friend stuck on Windows 7 whose midi utilities  don’t work with his midi hardware under Windows 10… although I’ve yet to work out why FF86.x is not available):

      firefox_download01

      I’ll admit… I’ve filled my boots:

      wintools_downloads

A big thanks to its site owner and his efforts – Peter Panisz – for the utils (and another big thanks to @joep517 who discovered it).

PS – I believe that it’s *hugely* important to support third-party developers who put out (standalone, portable) utilities that help us manage Windows better (especially when MS doesn’t)… so I’ve donated what I could afford as a pensioner:

      wintools_donated01

(Mods… this is not advertising, it’s just what I believe in. I’ve been a hugely staunt proponent of third-party utilities [like NirSoft] for many, many years. However, if this post transcends forum rules then I’m happy to discuss.)

      Hope this helps…
