    Hi all

I am getting the following error in Server 2016 “You might not have permission to use this network resource” when a client PC (Windows 10 Pro) tries to connect to any of the server folders. There are no stored “Credentials” and the fire wall is off. See enclosed image.

There is 3 PC’s here on W10 and they have gotten this error on different days as they were rebooted.

I don’t think it is a WU issue.

    Server-Error

    Thanks in advance,

    D..

Is the server on a domain? If not, what username are you using to log in to the PCs with? This will get passed to the server while attempting to connect.

        Not on a domain.

Not sure what you mean here “what username are you using to log in to the PCs with?”

      Run this from OlderGeeks:

      https://www.oldergeeks.com/downloads/file.php?id=525

Check last box from list of repairs and run. Reboot computers.
