Hi Loungers,
Just wondering if anyone knows a easy way for me to sum a a range and controlling it by entering in a indentifier from and a indentifier To

What I have is a table,

Col A Col B
Stage # Cubic Meters
1___________5
2 __________ 5
3__________ 7
5__________ 3

I am trying to write a formula that will allow me to sum stages by entering the stg # 1 to #2 =10 and entering stg 3 to 3 = 7 ect.

Let’s say you enter the “From” stage in E1 and the “To” stage in E2.
The formula

=SUMPRODUCT(B2:B5*(A2:A5>=E1)*(A2:A5<=E2))

will sum the cubic meters for the stages from E1 to E2. Adjust the ranges as needed.
