This site looks very different today in DIFFERENT browsers. It seems to hate Edge ;). That’s ok but it sadly also hates Firefox.

I’ve tested it in Edge/Firefox/Chrome on Windows 10, Firefox/Safari/Waterfox on Mac, Safari on an iphone and they all look the same.  I tried to repro Oscar’s view but cannot even with exactly the same browser.

What are your issues with Firefox – and what plug ins do you have (script blockers and the like)  Can you post up a screen shot please?

      No kidding!

This is what is like with Waterfox and Chrome:

This, what is like with FireFox (in my Mac)

Consider the extensions you are using. I am using AdBloc Plus, Disconnect, and NoScript on FFand WF, AdBloc Plus on Safari.
Run the browser in safe mode (no extensions) and see if there is a difference.
I have none of the problems Oscar suggests on Firefox, Waterfox, Safari on either MacOS or Windows. They all look the same.
      Here’s a comparison on MacOS:

      Waterfox

      Safari

KP, These various ways of various browsers of rendering AskWoody pages that I have shown here are not a problem to me, I really don’t care, I am fine with any of those looks, to me all this is just a curiosity, but also something that maybe those who are in charge of how the place looks should know about.

And, to repeat it once more: I don’t use FF, I don’t like it. I have the application in the “Applications” folder in my Mac,  and I get it out, now and then, for special occasions such as this. And I have as addons in FF: Adblock Plus, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, Tampermonkey … and that’s it.
