I use MS Works word processor, I create a simple table, say 2 colums wide by 7 rows high. The default text is ariel 10pt. I change this to Times New Roman 12pt. I type text in the first cell at Times New Roman 12 pt, use tab key to move into next cell or click with the mouse and text reverts back to the default ariel 10pt. This happens however I format the text, eg type it and highlight it and change format that way or from text format toolbar when I go to the next cell it reverts, I just cant get it to stick. Must be a simple thing I’m not doing but can’t seem to work it out. Any ideas please?

Sorry you didn’t get a response in the past week; most users here probably are more familiar with MS Word.

If you have not resolved the issue, you could try Microsoft’s support forums. Since I don’t see a forum for Works, you might need to first ask which forums is the best one to use: Where is the Forum For…? Forum.

Yes, well things have changed in this Lounge of course. Thanks for suggestions, apparently when inserting a table you need to select “format none” otherwise the table keeps reverting to its origial format style
