About 4 days ago T-bird stopped sending e-mails (new or forwarded) and gave this msg:
“Sending of message failed.
The message could not be sent because the connection to SMTP server mail.wavecable.com was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again or contact your network administrator.”
I was on the phone with my ISP (Wavecable) for an hour the other night thinking that it was the problem (due to another problem I’m having) & they said it was setup correctly. Then I loaded another e-mail client (eM) & it sends fine.
My version is the newest one (31.2.0) I like Tbird & don’t want to change – I’ve got lots of saved e-mails, etc. I have not installed any other software except for eM & this was before MS had the big update on Tuesday. However, I have update Windoze, which also did not make any difference. Any suggestions?

PS The other problem I referenced is that Firefox (latest) is loading some pages extremely slowly but others normally.
