Title set in Master View but does not appear when shown in slide-show mode

I have a pptx which in the master slide view I set the title bar to a particular position, color, and text.

Everything looks fine when back in the normal pptx editing view, but as soon as I hit F5 (slide show) the title does not appear.

The position of the title bar and color are there, just not the text.

Any thoughts?

Replies

Placeholders on the master set the format and the text to be replaced but NOT the actual text in the show which needs to be set on individual slides.
