I’m trying to transfer a database which had some macro routines from 2003 mdb to 2010 accdb.
It’s in a ‘trusted location’, but I’m still being told that some of the expressions in the macros are unsafe. Moreover, some commands like ‘SetValue’ and ‘RunApplication’ no longer seem to be available (which may of course be why there’s a warning beside them.
Can anyone give me advice? Is there a website with some guidance at this sort of level on the differences between the two versions?

    thanks in advance

Many of the issue you encounter converting from 2003 to 2010 are actually the issues you would have met if you had just gone to 2007.

Here is Allen Browne’s page on issues in Converting to 2007 or 2010.

Are you sure you have correctly set the Trusted Location? All macros should run without warning from a trusted location. (I believe.. I don’t have 2010 handy at the moment to check ..but in 2007 they do.)
