Outlook Email is behaving like any text I have typed in to a new message is like an image: uneditable. I cannot click anywhere in a paragraph and add more text. The only way I can change the text at all is by erasing with the backspace key.
This is new. Any ideas on what has changed to make this phenomenon happen? How to fix it?
    Many thanks

Does the cursor look like a hand? If so, click with it in the email body and then click the ESC button.

Open a new email, and then click the Options tab. Change the format. For example, if the format currently is HTML, make it Rich Text or Plain Text. If it currently is Rich Text, make it HTML or Plain Text.

I’m not sure that this will fix the problem, but it might.
