unable to send outlook email with attachment

We have a macro based file that when you click a button it creates a new non macro based file and attaches it to an outlook email. This email then becomes altered where you are unable to press the send button nor add any recipients or edit the body. You are able to use the keyboard short cut to send  – or save the email close then reopen and the email and everything works correctly. Any idea what may cause this since it has not happened before the last few weeks?

You don’t say what version of Outlook you are using. But if it had to be my guess, I’d say it might be associated with the June security update for Outlook. It is causing other e-mail problems. For the patch number see this topic

Try uninstalling the update and see if the problem goes away. If so, let us know.
