Yesterday I made the big mistake of downloading the VS2008 on my home p.c. in an attempt to get caught up with having to complete a project and needing some additional “playing around” time. It’s not that it didn’t install, it’s just that, in addition to installing all the VS components, it attempted to install SQL Server 2008. This failed, but parts of it are still on my p.c. When I try to uninstall it, it errors out and the error message says “fatal error installing SQL Server 2008, please reinstall.” I don’t want it, but other than going through the old-fashioned way of deleting the folder, hacking the registry and tweaking out the program on the add/delete software screen, is there any other way I can safely remove this?

I’m not sure this is the correct part’o the lounge here, but I figured someone can nicely point me in the right direction.

Thanks! I’m about to go bananas
