Hello all. No matter what I try my laptop is still not allowing the cumulitive updates since Jan. 2018 . This article mentions what mine is doing. At the end of the article before comments section, it talks about being on a loop.  Mine asks me to restart over and over, says its downloaded  to 100% and then says failed to update. Its now trying to update  KB4093112 mentioned in the article.  Have any of you had this issue and if so how did you resolve it ?  Thank you all so much .

ch100 might also be right that you might have to reinstall 1709 as a last resort. I read your other posts about this continual problem. I ask you this one question, did the April release of KB4099989 install without error? I think you are suppose to have that servicing stack update in place before Windows 10 can successfully install the April cumulative updates.

anonymous  – no KB4099989 didn’t update either and now my computer has gone on to try to update KB4093112.  I’ve tried to manually update by using the Microsoft stand alone updater.  Thank you so much for your help.
