Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
Finally just threw in the towel and did a clean install.
Did the install and installed updates through SP1. Next I’ve issued the update command to continue the process but all it does is spin its wheels (“Checking for updates” is showing it is checking). Been on-going for hours — nothing. Any suggestions as to what is going on had how to get off the pot?
