Hello. There is always pressing new developments at large this time of the month, and I hate bothering, but there is a point that I just can’t find documented on search, and eightforum and such are scarce in response.
I’d like to know if the cumulative monthly rollup KB number of the newest one cancels out the previous rollup number in the Installed List? I have come across the decrepancy after fresh install of WU security files on a reinstall of win8.1 last month.
If it’s so – not inclusive to 8.1 – has anyone who has been doing monthly rollups noticed their successful entry of rollups in the WU history list are not in the Installed list in the control panel, except for the last rollup and possibly ones prior to Oct 2016.
Should I assume I’ve had a major error, or is this right?
I’m still on win7 pro (security-only) as it’s very hard to part and I am anticipating further progress regarding patch0; but I cannot be sure if this win8.1 is adequately updated.
