I keep coming to this forum because I don’t seem to have a complete Help File in VB. I’ve done custom installs to try to get the missing information, but to no avail. Or do I have to have a full blown version of VB? Examples of things I can’t find: RichText, GetAddress, etc. Anyone know why I don’t have these or where I might obtain the entire Help File for VBA? Many thanks.

      Joanne,

Word/Office 97 didn’t have a richtext object (maybe Access did) or control. So, it’s not in any of the help files. Neither is Getaddress.

I usually just use the MSDN documentation online for stuff like that:
      http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default….hGetAddress.asp[/url]

Access 97 did NOT have a richtext control, although there was a third-party control available for that purpose.

Sometimes, though not always, it helps to pop up the Object Browser (F2 in the VB Editor), highlight the property or method, and press F1 there.
