What Does VB Offer for PCI/ISA Bus Interfacing?

I have some projects where I need to interface I/O through the computer bus. Does VB have routines that will help me do this? Maybe I have to do the interfacing through a third-party product that works with VB. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I just want to hook up wires to the bus and read-and-write; I am going to start out simple with a switch and LED, and then build up more complex configurations; I am hoping that VB has has support for working with the computer bus;

I’m guessing that you’ll probably need to find a component written by a third party that you can use in VB that will expose objects to manipulate what you’re trying to do. I know there’s components that allow you to read serial ports, so I’d suspect there might be something out there to do what you want.
