Windows 7 Updates to avoid

Two questions re Windows 7 updates, please:

1) if I have Office 2010 do I need to bother with updates for the programs in Office I don’t use

2) may I have again the Windows 7 updates (2017-19) to avoid– (I want to be sure none were installed by mistake.

Don’t try to pick and choose the Office updates, install the recommended ones and let MS work it out.
