WLM can NOT delete multple duplicate contacts

The title says it all. I have a contact

contact
contact

I can delete the good one but NOT the others. ??????????????????

I’d put Contacts is the Search [or Run box if it’s enabled] and see what the Folder contains. It is located in C:UsersLoginName. WLM should be able to Import from it.

I found that and it is a very OLD file. Anyway, how would I import from that if desired?
However, the problem is not that I can’t import and add more contacts. It is that I cannot delete the dups. They are like ghosts that I can’t do anything with.

Did you try clicking on Contacts > Cleanup Contacts?

Since I can’t figure this out I have decided to delete the account in WLM that goes to my gmail acct. Am I asking the obvious or do I NOT lose my emails if I cancel the acct>add it again>import NEW contacts list.
I just want to make sure I do NOT lose my emails.
