Getting the following error when trying to run WSUS:
I am trying to get update KB3187022 which is not appearing in WU and the only place I can seem to find it is on MS download center which does not seem to work for me. I use Firefox as my default browser and have IEtab installed and when I go to MS download center, IE loads up in my FF shell. I can put the file in my download basket, but cannot proceed from there. I tried loading up IE and still had the same issues. Perhaps IE 11 is required and I only have IE 10 and refuse to install 11 due to issues and that I never use it. So I thought I would try the WSUS and got the error message attached. I have not tried printing more than 2 pages at a time which is what this update is supposed to fix, but thought I would install it before I did a image backup. PC is actually running quite well including WU. Perhaps this update will be part of the Sept rollup, perhaps it is not even in the WSUS updates yet. Anyway any help appreciated. Another download link for KB3187022 would work as my PC is patched up to date already I believe.

    Thanks

Getting the following error when trying to run WSUS:

At a guess it’s because you have the WSUS Offline Update parent folder buried too far down in your filesystem. Try moving the folder to the root of whichever drive you have it stored on so the filepath is as short as possible.

For example, if it’s currently stored in C:UsersDownloadsHere’s where I stored WSUS Offline Updatewsussoffline, move the wsussoffline folder to C:wsussoffline.

Perhaps this update will be part of the Sept rollup, perhaps it is not even in the WSUS updates yet.

I’ve just checked the client folder in my own WSUS Offline Update v10.7.3 (updated 4 days ago) and KB3187022 isn’t there.

      Hope this helps…

EDIT: I’ve just carried out another WSUS Offline Update a few minutes ago and KB3187022 still isn’t there.

You are probably right as I put it on another partition where I install most of my apps.

Was finally able to grab this using these instructions and temporarily disabling IEtab.
