I visited Microsoft’s Silverlight main page just now. The latest version of Silverlight 5 is dated December 09, 2011. A link labeled “See what’s new!” led to a 404 error.
If I were a Silverlight developer I would be looking for alternative employment opportunities about now.
Stick a fork in it. Silverlight is done.
