Thanks for the info!  WOW incredible so it’s a “violation of Windows Policy” to have a really blank new tab in Edge?!?!

Also I had disabled “Allow Web Content on New Page” gp a while a go and it did nothing. Windows 10 Pro not on Active Directory.

So apparently you need a series of registry “hacks” just to be able to apply the group policy! absolutely ridiculous!

Does anyone know any tricks to make the new tab page of Edge really completely blank and remove the search box and & cookie banner and other junk?

Yep It’s great and all but unfortunately no one uses it and people are extremely stubborn in changing their apps.

 

I get a stubborn ERROR 0x800f0831 with this month’s update (KB5027215). My first update problem in a very long time, believe it or not.

It is super annoying that Samsung hides some settings. Try Samsung Band Selection app.

So you can update existing apps without MS account but it requires account to install new apps?

That’s a neat trick. but one question remains, will it force you to login to MS account later, for example if you try to update apps in Microsoft App Store?
