Casio, that’s a name have not heard mentioned for years

I use to have a Casio Watch a long time ago… it had buttons for
      certain functions with a calculator.

    • Hi Dana,

True but over time the video file sizes will grow and you would end up with a few video files for each change made over time.

I have the all the changes noted with the URL link source I changed in the OS & Office

All in one Notepad file around 40kb

      Quick and easy…

    • Personally i would not trust any de-bloat tool that did not outline each step it was going to do or let you exclude certain things.

You would want undo options as well.

I prefer to do many changes manually myself.

Note down a list, what had been done with each major change.

Also Reg and Group Policy changes…

You will learn better that way, than something that you don’t have control over or know exactly what it had done.

      Hi Kathy,

The  link is for version 5, i think the latest is version 5.1 from looking around.

      So your version is 2.0.20604

It must have been cheaper than version 5 when you purchased that product?

      Thanks…

    • in reply to: Adobe Acrobat – an alternative Kofax Power PDF #2749739

      Hello Kathy,

I was a little confused looking into the product you mentioned.

Kofax Power PDF – It seems Kofax is just a reseller for Tungsten and on

      tungstenautomation.com

They call the product Tungsten Power PDF no mention of Kofax pdf

      with 3 versions…

Power PDF Standard for Windows & Power PDF Advanced for Windows & Power PDF for Mac

Which version did you get and is it just named Power PDF?

      Thanks for clarifying

      Great article Dana

There is quite a bit to PATH

I remember installing a certain portable application once
and it had no GUI installer, so you had to set PATH

      Hi EP,

Thanks for the link, that’s why…

My current release is Fedora 41.

Ill update to 42 at some stage.

    • Thanks Dana,

You Must have a Microsoft account to install and activate Office 365.

      My thinking was…

Yes the Online Microsoft Account where you sign in a manage your subscriptions etc.

Then I was able to download to exe and install 365, and thought it would just activate online. I did not think it would change my Local Account to the Microsoft Account on that PC. Anyway this is what took place and easy enough to change back to a local account and still keep the subscription active with out any input.

It’s just if I had not looked and noticed, that the Local Account had switched.

Even on my Fedora box FF version is still 134.0.2 as of today

I say on ARCH it would have the latest Version.

    • I remember a PC that was set up with a local account.

Then installing 365, that PC then change to a Microsoft account.

So i have to go into settings, account, and change the PC back to the
      local account.

Some people might not even notice the change or care.

Just shows again, Microsoft and sly tactics…

      Have a look at this

OST vs PST | Differences between OST and PST files

      https://www.nucleustechnologies.com/blog/ost-vs-pst/

You can always send a test email to your account and play

around with that, to see what outcomes you are looking for

then you will know what happens.

      Hi agoldhammer,

If I understand you correctly, all you need to do is in Outlook classic.
Go to account settings then the Data Files Tab.
Then you can add your old pst file and you have “Set as Default”

Hope this is what you need…
