Thanks, HansV. I tried that and found that out. That seems rather clumsy to me. I would like to type in the parameter in Word. I think I will try Phil’s suggestion.

No, they do not have a top margin. They are a Quill brand. (Pressure Sensitive Printout Labels 3-1/2″ x 15/16″ tractor feed)

What I finally did was copy the most important part of the document that I use all the time to a new document. I can still access the old document, but the new document acts like it’s supposed to.

Currently I do not have Norton AntiVirus. I did have it until yesterday. After installing SP2, I couldn’t log on to our local network where a lot of my information is stored, so we took Norton off while our company computer tech is getting information from Norton how to fix that problem. Once I uninstalled Norton, I got on the LAN with no problems and my computer ran considerably faster with the exception of Word. I did a little more checking, and it seems to be the one file that gives me problems. The file size is 2.58 mb. Thanks, HansV for your note on making a clickable link.

I don’t recall that they were named “Winmail.dat”. I deleted them as I for sure didn’t want them infecting my computer if it was a virus related problem. (We both have Norton Security) The RTF option; was that on his computer out of Outlook you are talking about or on my computer?

I’m not sure what you mean by having something between Outlook and the server. As far as I know he hasn’t installed any add-ins.

Thanks for your help. I also discovered that all I had to do was right click on the desktop and click on “Arrange Icons By” and then turn off “Show Desktop Icons”.
