Thanks. Everything is clear now and performs as I expect.

Hope others that may have ventured into this area of using Excel charts in Powerpoint presentations can now proceed with more confidence.

Thanks for the link. It gave me some clues but I still have questions.

The FAQ item 1 says to put the charts on their own chart sheet. That sounds like it is different from a worksheet. I don’t know how to do that.

The FAQ item 3 says to set Tools, Options, Chart, “Chart sizes with window frame” NOT checked. I cannot get this option active (i.e. it is dimmed and not available for change). It is checked on both Excel 98 and 2000.

Yes, Charles, that is the way to fix such Graph problems.

For a long time, I had real problems with things that were too small to select. Then one day, I found that while you are in Graph, you can use View|Zoom to select a magnification that is more appropriate.
