AskWoody LoungerOS is Win98SE.
I know Winfax can do the work. Unfortunally, it is too expensive.

AskWoody LoungerI could not find either the FormatMultilevelDefault or the FormatHeadingNumbering in my Word2002 menu.
The button I want to create is for the function of Format_Bullets and Numbering_Outline Numbered.

AskWoody LoungerIt explains all. Thank you very much.
My next question is how to do an import:
I need to import the data from an Excel2002 file,
called VENDOR.xls located at C:My Documents
to a table,
called TBLVENDOR.According to the publisher, I need to create an append query to append the records from the imported VENDOR.xls table to the TBLVENDOR table. How to create this append query?

AskWoody LoungerCan you tell me more detail about this procedure? If it is under Register Editor, which path is it?

I found the cause of this problem in Microsoft’s KB for Dictation Mode Does Not Start When You Start Speech Recognition (Q302598).
Yes, after I have disabled the Instant Access of OCR program, The Speech Recognition functioned well in Word 2002.
Thank you very much.

AskWoody LoungerChase,
Thank you for your comments. Sounds like you are hitting the targets.
Thought I do not know how much memory has been located to Word2002, there is a 256MB memory sitting on the mother board.
Mother board is an All-In-One which means the sound card, VIA AC’97, is built in. However, when I was “teaching” Word2002 my voice, it seemed that she could understand what I said.

AskWoody LoungerDon’t get me wrong
I am not an AOL user. I just use Netscape Communicator for browsing. AOL is the owner of Netscape Communicator.
I did check the Help before posting this question. I remember there was a print preview function under the File menu before Version 6.0, At then, Internet Explorer did not have preview function yet.
It is wield enough that Internet Explorer has put in this function while AOL is taking out this function.

AskWoody LoungerCarolW,
I looked at MightyFax before. I did not see the received fax was in TIFF format in the product description. Would you please confirm that the received fax is in TIFF format?

AskWoody LoungerIf freeware is not possible, I would take shareware

AskWoody LoungerLeif,
Thank you for your prompt answer. I did do some searches at ZDnet before. Yes, it gave me several hundred of fax shareware search result. I think it is a better idea to have someone give me recommendation instead of trying each of these several hundred shareware, by myself, to see which ones offer TIFF format.
