For years now I have used Microsoft Rich tolls Rich copy. I have made a .cmd file from rick copy and set a task to run it every day. It will purge deleted files and copy’s large files very quickly.
Also weekly I make an Acronis backup image of my c drive.

All this is fine, but what does it do for us that have limited data, other than cost a mint in overage charges.
Since I travel a lot I use a Verizon Jetpak, and worked hard to avoid cloud storage and online programs. 5 gigs can go fast
even telling windows 8.1 that your on a metered connection.

    • I’m with you, don’t see any value to that app.
I also don’t see any value to any of the supplied apps. They are all difficult to use. Even the Store app is ridicules ,when you go to look at something and return, it returns to the beginning of the list, not where you were.
I don’t know where they are going with this operating system, but I don’t see large commercial users using it. At this point I don’t see me using it

I use a batch file for backing up my data, it does it every day. Scripts were made from Robo Copy and Rich Copy.
Can you give a sample for the script you use for your maid service?

      Thanks, Jon
