I downloaded and ran the “Fixit” but it did not fix it. I’m nowhere near a guru but I’m wondering whether there is a setting that is the root problem.

Thanks for the suggestions. Canon sent me a replacement installation CD which isn’t recognized either. I can insert a blank Maxell CD and it is recognized with no problem. I do have one other CD which is not recognized. There must be a solution but I don’t know what it is. If I ever find out I will try to share. I guess it’s case closed for now, unfortunately.

The Canon CD is not recognized in explorer nor will it auto-play.

I tried a full backup with Casper 7 this am and it terminated before completion with advice to select “automatic” “enhanced” or “smart clone.” I have no idea how to do these other types of backup. Any advice? I have backed up successfully previously to the same external drive with the same system- window 7 prof.

I send several spams a day to Juno spam lately and more sometimes. However, one of the biggest spammers they say they cannot block as some may want its ads. I have to seriously doubt anyone wants ad after ad. A couple a day I can handles but 20 to 30 – too much.

I don’t understand how that would obviate the desirability of exporting email addresses from Juno. Maybe I’m missing something.

I plan on either Outlook.com or Yahoo.com

Thanks, Bruce. Apparently I have not set up this folder properly as there are no headings such as Name, Date Modified, Type, Size. That seems to be the basic problem. I cannot seem to get this right. Any suggestions.

Thanks for the responses. I’m not sure what worked but I can now find it much more easily. I liked XP better in the management of files.

Thanks. I was aware of what you suggest. However, I would like the initial words as I type not to be so miniscule, more like this size.
