• Patch Lady – best security features of 1809

    1809 may have some bugs that need to be worked out, but once it is fixed up, there are some security goodnesses in it that are worth mentioning.  And in this case they are “mentioned” over on CSOOnline.

    Every release of Windows 10 I detail out the new security feature that I think are really cool.

    I am a huge fan of Windows Defender ATP a cloud based forensic review service that allows one to gain more inside into the innards of the operating system and what attackers do when they are on and in your operating system.  Unfortunately right now it’s tied to a Microsoft 365 E5 or a Windows E5 license.  My hope is that ATP will ultimately be part of the base operating system and not require the expensive E5 license.

    Keep in mind that you can these days purchase a single E5 license, the trick is to find a consultant or distributor that will sell it.
