Windows Update Manager (wumgr), an open source replication of Windows Update MiniTool, is now available as a work in progress.  See: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-update-manager.77736/.  Between that new tool and the Wrapper Script (which is moving from using WUMT to wumgr) https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/wumt-wrapper-script-controls-windows-update-service.72203/, Windows 10 users may finally get a choice to exclude feature updates and other problematic MS updates.

@mick-mickle thx for the links I had been searching High and Low for switch’s for WUMT to add as part of a Scheduled Task to run automatically with WUMT best so far was -update which I discovered by trial and error to use with this little dodge to get round the worst excess’s of Win10 Homes lust for updates. Thinking about inserting a string of addl. cmd’s such as -update -selectall -hide -exit long time since I did this so a little Rusty here. thx again 🙂
